Raise a Glass and Toast to Munich
Bordering the Bavarian Alps and nestled along the River Isar, the city of Munich boasts plenty of jaw-dropping scenic views and exciting experiences. Besides the baroque churches, scores of historic breweries dot the city and line the streets; the spirit of Oktoberfest lives here year-round. Multiple meals might consist of weisswurst (white veal sausage), schnitzel (breaded and fried meat cutlets) and bretzel (German pretzel) — all of which pair perfectly with a refreshing pint of beer.
